THE DESIGN PHILOSOPHY / 02

The art of living
beyond the lines.

Great design begins with a foundation of enduring principles: balance, proportion, geometry, rhythm, and an understanding of architectural precedent.

I have always been drawn to the square—its clarity, stability, and perfect simplicity. It represents the discipline and structure that inform my work.

But structure should never limit imagination.

I believe in interiors that invite curiosity, celebrate individuality, and occasionally break the rules. A beautiful home should embrace unexpected color, playful details, personal collections, and moments of whimsy.

Lighting is fundamental to this philosophy. More than illumination, it is an architectural medium that shapes perception, reveals texture, establishes mood, and brings a space to life.

Ultimately, I believe the best interiors combine classical discipline with creative freedom.

Understand the rules. Respect the architecture. Then have a little fun.
